Hello Friends and Neighbors!
Happy Earth Day! Check out the info bellow and join us for our Earth Day actions tomorrow and throughout this next week.
This past week, we passed a resolution supporting the Chicago Inclusive Housing Ordinance. We sent a message to Alderman Osterman, the Chair of the Housing Committee, and asked for his support of Affordable Requirements Ordinance reform. See highlights and summary for the full recap.
We hope you will join us for our Transportation Town Hall on Tuesday April 27th and our next coalition meeting on Wednesday May 12th.

Community Connections
Go green by sharing extra grocery bags and egg cartons with Care for Real. Care for Real is our neighborhood food pantry. They could use strong plastic or reusable grocery bags to help their clients who need another bag to bring their items home. They also need empty egg cartons to repack eggs that may have broken in the egg carton they've received them in. These donations can be brought to the back door at 5339 N Sheridan between 12pm-3pm Monday through Saturday. If you have questions, please send an email to info@careforreal.org. Thank you.
