Community Connections

Community Air Research Project

These students will be collaborating with EEC on where to install four purple air sensors within Chicago. EEC will be a main group which the student can gain knowledge about Chicago and listen to residents' concerns.

Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition
EEC just voted in favor of joining the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition (ICJC) Climate Table, joining us in a coalition with dozens of other environmental groups in advocacy for a clean energy economy! ICJC was a leading force in the promotion of the Clean Energy Jobs Act (CEJA), especially after the harmful effects of the COVID-19 crisis, and we are proud to be joining their efforts.
ICJC is looking for ambassadors on CEJA, who can know about the bill and be able to apply that information within the Edgewater Community. If you are interested in the role, reach out.
