Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition

EEC just voted in favor of joining the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition (ICJC) Climate Table, joining us in a coalition with dozens of other environmental groups in advocacy for a clean energy economy! ICJC was a leading force in the promotion of the Clean Energy Jobs Act (CEJA), especially after the harmful effects of the COVID-19 crisis, and we are proud to be joining their efforts.
ICJC is looking for ambassadors on CEJA, who can know about the bill and be able to apply that information within the Edgewater Community. If you are interested in the role, reach out.

Edgewater Historical Museum Exhibits
The exhibit on Native History in Edgewater is available 1-4pm on Saturdays and Sundays at 5358 N. Ashland Road.

CHI Community Action Education Event
The Chicago Housing Initiative (CHI) will be discussing the topic "Why Does Affordable Housing Fail Low-Income People" on January 29th at 1pm.
